The Music Club of Greenville
About Us

The club was founded in 1906 by Mrs. W.P. Conyers, Mrs. George Ebaugh, Mrs. O.B. Hartzog and Mrs. Robert I. Woodside. Today we have a membership of 90 with additional Junior Members in the Conyers-Crescent Junior Music Club, the Riddle Junior Music Club, The Batesville Music Club and Keys & Co.

Meetings are held each second Monday, September through May, at the E. North Street Concert House, 1805 E. North Street or other designated site.

The club awards four $1,000 scholarships each year to  high school seniors planning to major in music in college.

The club encourages members in community involvement and many hours are given to nursing homes, hospitals, schools, etc. each month. Members perform in the Greenville Chorale, the Greenville Chamber Singers, the Foothills Philharmonic, the Greenville Concert Band and at many churches in the area.

On November 13, 2006 the club celebrated our One

Hundreth Anniversary!  We remembered our founders by presenting a gift of two Tympani to the Fine Arts Center of the Greenville Public Schools.
